Theresa Ora is a senior nursing student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, originally from Philadelphia, PA.
In 2002, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH. After teaching for 2 years, she decided to combine her love of teaching and caring for others to pursue a career in nursing.
As the Breakthrough to Nursing Director, she hopes to use her skills and resources as a teacher to reach out to as many people as possible. She is excited to work with AANS and all of the SNA groups in Alabama to recruit as many future nurses as possible.
