The agenda for our 2008 Convention is almost complete. Keep checking back here and it should be available in the next few days. We will have NCLEX reviews, plenary sessions on a variety of topics, an Awards Banquet, and an exciting Tailgate Party!
At convention we will also hold our annual meeting of our House of Delegates (including elections for next year's board). For more information on our House of Delegates, including delegate requirements, visit our House of Delegates page.
Mail-in registration is now available. Below are the downloadable registration forms for both students and advisors. On-line registration will be in July!

Reservations can now be made at the Four Points by Sheraton Tuscaloosa Capstone. The phone number is (205) 752-3200. Be sure to say the room is for the AANS/ASNA Annual Convention to receive the convention rate. The following nightly rates will apply for the convention:
- Single/Double - $94
- Triple - $104
- Quadruple - $114
AANS NEEDS YOU - To run for office!
The 2008-2009 Election Packet is now available. In order to be eligible to run for the 2008-2009 AANS Executive Board, the Application Packet must be completed in full.
In order to be pre-slated for office, the packet must be received no later than August 8. Candidates may run from the floor at convention. However, in order to run from the floor, the packet must be submitted and verified by the Nominations and Elections Chair no later than 5:00pm on September 19.

Resolutions
AANS is looking for individuals and schools to submit RESOLUTIONS to be approved by the House of Delegates at our Annual Convention. Resolutions must be submitted in the same format as resolution submittals to the National Student Nurses' Association.

Emergency resolutions will be accepted until 12:00 pm on Friday, September 19 for consideration in the opening of the House of Delegates. For more information about submitting resolutions, click HERE.
Chapter Fundraising
Is your chapter interested in fundraising at the AANS Annual Convention? Fill out our Fundraising Table Registration Form and mail it in today!
The cost is $25 and the tables will be awarded on a first come - first serve basis. Currently, AANS does not know how many tables will be available.
Win a $250 Scholarship!
AANS is again holding its annual scholarship essay contest. Two scholarships in the amount of $250 each will be given at the Awards Banquet on September 19 at the AANS Annual Convention. Print out and complete
the Scholarship Essay Contest invitation letter and submission requirements and submit no later than August 29!
Silent Auction
Every year, AANS holds a silent auction during convention to benefit our State Project recipient, which this year is the National Children's Advocacy Center (NCAC).
