_Council of School Leaders (COSL)
The Council of School Leaders (COSL) was developed to facilitate communication among local chapters in the state and to provide a direct line to AANS.
About COSL
Each school in Alabama has three delegates to the COSL. They include the chapter President*, another officer designee of the President, and the chapter Advisor. The COSL meets formally twice a year, at the FACES Education Sessions in the spring and at the AANS Annual Convention in the fall.
COSL members are an important link between AANS and the chapter. AANS will provide information on all upcoming AANS and NSNA programs directly to the COSL, who will then be responsible for passing the information on to chapter members. In addition, the COSL is a vital resource for AANS planning. The Executive Board of AANS will seek input from the COSL when planning events, projects, and the Annual Convention.

Chapter Accomplishments
Chapter Accomplishments In order to facilate communication and sharing among local chapters in Alabama, we have created a Chapter Accomplishment Sharing Form. If you have not already done so, please download and complete the form prior to our next COSL meeting. This is a wonderful way to share our successes with each other and provide each other with new ideas.
*If the school does not have an organized chapter, any members of AANS/NSNA at the school may serve as members of the COSL.
