Meloni McDougle is a senior at the University of Alabama Huntsville College of Nursing. She has one son, Hunter, who is four years old and is a single mommy.
She originally started out as a chemical engineering major at Auburn University. After her divorce, she decided to switch her major to Nursing, because she loves people, especially children. Her career goal is to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Meloni’s goal this year is to help the state reach its goal of 1600 members. She would also like to get all of the state forms updated. Another of her tasks for this year will be to ensure that all correspondence with the NSNA is updated and kept current.
She believes that this year will be an exciting and successful one. She looks forward to working with all of the school chapters this year, and is thankful for the wonderful leadership opportunity that she has to serve as your secretary for AANS.
