Laura Noblitt is a senior at the University of Alabama Huntsville, College of Nursing. She is seeking her second degree, already having a degree in Microbiology with a minor in chemistry, but she loves medicine and decided to return to the field after raising her children.
Laura has been married for 24 years to her husband, Mike, and has two married daughters, Ashley and Sara. She also has two granddaughters, Faith who is 2 years old and Caroline who was born in December.
Laura has worked with several organizations over the past 20 years, the largest of which was a quarter million dollar community built playground called Kid’s Space. She plans to bring her experience to our State Board to help us develop a successful project.
Laura’s goals for the state are : (1) to raise $20,000 for our state project charity; (2) to involve every member school in our state project; (3) to help recruit new membership throughout the state, especially in under-represented schools; and (4) to help the state reach a membership total of 1600 members.
