*Camp Smile-A-Mile
Camp Smile-A-Mile is a non-profit organization in Alabama for children who have or have had cancer. Year-round activities are vailable to all campers as listed on the www.campsam.org website under the programs tab. There are 7 camps during the summer, and AANS needs your help and donations! The campers' wish list for the summer camps includes:
Campers Wish List:
· DVD movies
· Sharpie markers
· Acrylic paints
· Non-menthol shaving cream
· Pool toys (excluding noodles)
· Copy paper

Want to volunteer? Applications are available on www.campsam.org under the Volunteer Tab. Applications will be accepted through March 15th and a required orientation is Saturday, April 14th. You must be 19 years or older to apply.
Want to do a little more? Raise money to send a child to camp. $250 will send one child to camp.
As a secondary project for 2012, we are continuing to accept pop tabs for The Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Ronald McDonald House Charities continued!
This year’s State Project recipient is The Ronald McDonald House Charities.
All school chapters can help by collecting pop tabs and bringing them to state convention this October. Place collection containers at your school beside soda machines or anywhere else you can think of to get pop tabs.

**Chapters participating in the State Project Fundraiser will receive points toward the Chapter of Champions Award at the AANS Annual Convention. Chapters will receive one (1) point for each $50 raised up to a maximum of five (5) points.
